The 2022 Winter Olympics wrapped over the weekend, and I didn't get a chance to see a whole lot of the action.

I'll be honest with you, I completely admire the dedication and time these amazing athletes put into their craft. The hours spent sculpting their bodies and working on their skills are an inspiration to everyone, everywhere.

From the downhill skiing to the amazing acrobatic snowboarders.  Of course, there are the figure skaters and the hockey players who can do things on the ice that make them look like superheroes. What about the Bobsledders? Who doesn't love them?

Having said that...The sport that I enjoy watching the most...Curling. There, I said it.  I love watching Curling and that's for a couple of reasons.

First, Curling kind of seems a bit like bowling on ice. What I mean is, an average person can bowl.  By the looks of it, an average person can Curl as well. Don't get me wrong, there is some serious skill to it, but once again...I see a whole lot of folks that look more like me Curling than I do on the slopes.

Second, it seems like something you can totally do with your buddies.  In fact, it seems like the ultimate winter buddy sport.  You and some friends, a few cold ones, a stone and some brooms, baby.

So how popular is Curling here in Montana?  Well, there are several Curling Clubs across the state, so if you're thinking about checking it out, Montana has options. There are Curling Clubs in Billings, Bozeman, Butte, Havre, Helena, Missoula, and Whitefish.
