That's right! You may not know it, but the Winifred Museum in Winifred, Montana is home to one of the largest collections of Tonka Trucks in the entire world.

If you're still a child at heart, you'll be happy to know that over 3,000 Tonka Trucks are featured in the collection at the Winifred Museum. Many of them are still in their original boxes.

Personally, I love Tonka Trucks! I have a collection of my own, but it's nothing like the variety featured in the museum in Winifred. If you're looking for a great family road trip this summer, plan a trip to the Winifred Museum. The town of Winifred has a population of around 200 people and is about 200 miles northeast of Bozeman. It's a 3.5 hour drive.

If you have children, the museum has a bunch of Tonka toys that aren't included in the collection that can be played with. If you decide to plan a trip to the Winifred Museum, If you ever visit, you'll find the museum is one of the only things in town other than the people that live there. Within the museum, you find historical artifacts, and other items pertaining to the history of the area. You'll also find one of the largest known collections of Tonka Trucks in one place. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
