Bozeman, Billings, Missoula and Helena all agree: the 'Kars for Kids' song makes them want to jump off a cliff.

We conducted another of our infamous and informal street polls with the help of radio station friends across the state. Our brave poll-takers stood on street corners and asked 100 passers by: "What's the absolute WORST song used in television commercials?"

This was by far the easiest (and most funny) street corner poll we've ever done. Not only did we get to involve more Montana towns but the responses were surprisingly rapid fire. Most folks have their most hated TV song burned into their brains so they're able to respond in a heartbeat.

What other TV commercial songs got mentioned? There were a few standouts that received plenty of votes. The JG Wentworth song, better known as "877-Cash-Now" was a worthy 2nd place contender.

Another song used in commercials that got MANY mentions, is my personal hell. It's by far the worst of the worst when it comes to the myriad songs now created for prescription drugs.

If you don't know the drug, you've probably heard the song. It's for a birth control drug called Paragard. It might be the best drug ever created but THIS song will make me run across the room to change the channel. Muting the TV isn't enough. The actual commercial itself is 'top of my list' annoying too. It haunts my soul after I've heard it.

If you're somehow not familiar with the atrocious Kars for Kids jingle, let us ruin your day:

Well, there you have it. The top 3 mentioned "Most Annoying TV Commercial Songs" as named by Montanans on a street corner!
