Kroger and Albertsons recently announced a merger with C & S Wholesale Grocers, and sold off a number of grocery stores across the country, including in Montana.

You may pay more for groceries at Whole Foods, but there's a good reason for that. Most of the items you'll find in the store are organic. The store takes pride in selling the highest quality natural and organic foods. Since being purchased by Amazon in 2017, prices at Whole Foods have decreased slightly, but groceries still cost more on average. The only Whole Foods location in Montana is in Bozeman.
