Most Wanted! Over 800 Outstanding Warrants in Gallatin County
There are currently over 800 outstanding adult warrants in Gallatin County, and local law enforcement is doing its part to keep residents safe.
The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office plans to keep residents in Gallatin County informed with "Wanted Wednesday." Each week, the GCSO will release the names of some of the most wanted criminals with outstanding warrants in Gallatin County.
The list does not include warrants issued in the city of Bozeman or the city of Belgrade. If warrants in Bozeman and Belgrade were included, there would be 2,531 active adult warrants within Gallatin County.
Law enforcement officials want to make sure that Gallatin County is a safe place for all residents, and plan to start getting to word out about active warrants on a weekly basis.
In the first edition of "Wanted Wednesday", the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office highlighted to following individuals with active warrants.

According to the Gallatin County Sheriff's Office, a warrant is a process used to get an individual to appear in court and is usually generated for one of two reasons. A warrant is issued as the result of an investigation in a criminal case; whereas a bench warrant is usually issued by a judge for either failing to appear as promised or failing to pay a fine.
Warrants are classified by the severity of the crime. The classifications are:
- Local Ordinance
- Misdemeanor
- Felony
