As you may or may not know, part of my job is writing articles.  Now, keep in mind, I've spent the majority of my life on the radio, so writing is a little different than talking.  Nonetheless, I enjoy being able to express my viewpoints and write about stuff that I think is interesting.  I also enjoy reading the comments from those that read the articles I write.

As I've mentioned before, I appreciate the kind words, but the mean comments, they're my favorite and often make me laugh. I figured we all had such a good time reading the first batch, we should all get back together and read another round.

There has been a lot of talk about ESPN College Gameday coming to Montana for the Brawl of the Wild game. Of course, this year's game is in Missoula, and folks in Missoula are going all out to try and get the show there.

They've gone as far as recruiting celebrities like Academy Award Winner J.K. Simmons and Pearl Jam Bassist Jeff Ament to go on social media to try and persuade ESPN.

Well played Missoula, well played indeed.

So I wrote a story the other day agreeing that Gameday should come to Missoula, not because of Missoula, but because Montana State is ranked #3 and is having an amazing season. Let's just say some folks took issue with that...on both sides.

So without further ado, I present "Mean Montana Comments, Cat/Griz Edition:"

"That's like sayin the college game day crew should cover JV High School sports."

"You guys tailgate in a cow pasture for Christ sake."

"Hell no! We don't need more Californians"

"Two irrelevant teams. They mean nothing outside of Montana!"

"Why would ESPN come to Montana?"

"FTG"

"FTC"

"Nobody wants to see a giant litterbox on tv"

"Go Griz! Btw, there’s a typo in your article…."

"Lol, like they would go to Bozeman"

"FTC and this $#@!%& article"

"I don't think I'm going to put much stock in the Hollywood Hobo who wrote this article"

That last one is the absolute best. Seriously, "Hollywood Hobo" might be my new favorite term, so I thank you for that little gem.

I appreciate passion and I love the fact that both fanbases are so passionate about their team. I love the fact that after the last year and a half, we get to do this again and this time for the 120th time, plus, a little friendly smack talk never hurt anyone.
