I Have An Attractive Idea For The City of Bozeman
The City of Bozeman needs a few ideas for keeping its citizens happy, and we might have a great one.
The City of Bozeman provides quite a bit of fun to many of its citizens year-round. We have impeccable parks to enjoy with friends or family and incredible events that happen every month.
There are plenty of things to do in the City of Bozeman during the summer, but that's different when the snow starts falling. Hiking trails close up due to snow, and there is only one indoor pool to enjoy for the kids.
That's why we have come up with a genius idea that could be a hit with locals and can be sustained year-round.
What if the City of Bozeman purchased the old Access Fitness location near Hobby Lobby and turned it into year-round pickleball courts?
Think about it, pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in America and can be enjoyed by locals, young and old. You could host tournaments and leagues and sell memberships.
Pickleball has been gaining steam here in the Gallatin Valley, with courts near Bogert Park and several gyms offering pickleball courts. It's a sport that isn't complicated and can be played with multiple people.
It wouldn't take much to retrofit that space to be turned into pickleball space. You could probably fit several courts in and host monthly tournaments or leagues.
Many locals don't participate in ice hockey, skiing, snowboarding, or other winter sports. This idea would be a fantastic alternative.
So the City of Bozeman, what's the problem? Make it happen.
