Search Continues for 8-Year-Old Who Fell Into River

Today is the third full day of searching for the 8-year-old Logan, Montana girl who fell into the river near Headwaters State Park. The search continued this morning at 7 a.m.

Tuesday’s search included four dog teams, two helicopters, 12 ground searchers, four divers and four boats. Assisting were searchers from Flathead, Madison and Lewis and Clark counties. Today’s effort will have three boats with divers, side scan sonar and underwater cameras. Two helicopters and several ground searchers will be working the area. Park County and MHP are assisting with the effort today.

The family has expressed appreciation for all the support but today requests no visitors at the site.
