"We Believe You" is professionally applied to the side of the car alongside the iconic Ghostbusters logo. And it was parked in downtown Bozeman...

I didn't get the chance to see the license plate or see if there was equipment in the back but we did get a good picture of the car which was parked on East Main Street just before Lindley Park.

Did anybody else see this rig driving around the valley? Elaborate leftover Halloween prop? True "ghostbusters" here to investigate the abandoned building that used to be the vacuum store at that intersection? I'm all ears for ideas.

The original Ghostbusters car (called the Ekto 1), according to motortrend, is a 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor Futura Duplex (with ambulance/hearse conversion). The SUV spotted in Bozeman is obviously not that car. HOWEVER, it seems that the original vehicle from the movie was located earlier this year in a barn somewhere in Oklahoma.

There is even a REPLICA of the vehicle in England that is for sale for approximately $294,000. I'll let you Google that if you're the kind of person that needs one of these :-)

So even though we got a decent picture of the SUV, we don't know anything about why it's here or even why it exists. That's where you come in. Have you seen this vehicle in the area? If so, did YOU get a better picture to share with us? Better yet, do you have a clue who this belongs to and why it's decorated as the Ghostbusters car????
