Whoops! Woman’s Husband Is Her Brother

You search for your soul mate and actually find that person. You form a life together and have a child. Years later you find out that you will be united with your mother who abandoned you as a child. Your mother tells you that you have a brother. It's your soul mate. You married your brother.

I tried to put myself in their shoes before passing judgement. I typically read half of a story, form an opinion and move along.

Let's call the wife Amanda, the husband Charles and the mom Susan. This way we can keep them all straight. Obviously, they would like their identity protected.

As children, Amanda and Charles were abandoned by their mother - who happen to both be named Susan. What a coincidence! They spend time together, commit their lives to one another and have a little girl. Their daughter, now six, is finding out a whole new layer to the story of mom and dad.

After searching for her mother, Amanda has an opportunity to be on a radio show with a host who specializes in reuniting lost relatives. Amanda finally speaks with her mother, Susan! Before the end of the call, Susan reveals that she had a little boy named Charles. HER HUSBAND!

In fact, her response is, “I don’t believe that you’re telling me this. Charles is my husband.”

What are their plans for the future?
