Winter Storm Watch Issued For Bozeman Area This Weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from Saturday morning through Sunday afternoon.

Heavy snow is possible with total accumulations of 2 to 6 inches expected at lower elevations, and 6 to 12 inches possible at higher elevations.

Portions of Beaverhead, Madison, and Gallatin counties are included in the winter storm watch.

Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Some increased avalanche danger is possible, especially across steep terrain.
