Experience the Real West at This Great Small Town Montana Rodeo
It's officially rodeo season in Montana, and if you want to experience one of the best small-town rodeos in the state, you don't want to miss Upper Yellowstone Roundup in Gardiner, Montana.
The Upper Yellowstone Roundup was started by the Gardiner Jaycees and has been an annual tradition in the small town that borders Yellowstone National Park since 1975. The event is sponsored by the Upper Yellowstone Roundup Association, and Jacob’s Livestock is providing the bulls, broncs, and other livestock. Events will include bull riding, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping, calf roping, ladies breakaway roping, ladies barrel racing, junior breakaway roping, and junior barrel racing.
Gardiner is nestled along the Yellowstone River and also serves as the north entrance to YNP. Load up the family, and make a weekend out of it. You can experience the real west at the Gardiner Rodeo, and then go on an adventure in the park!
