The Flathead River and Blackfoot River in western Montana are popular destinations for floaters during the summer, but there's one river that is considered slightly more famous that others, mostly due to the fact the the headwaters of the river are located inside of a National Park. The Yellowstone River is one of the most renowned rivers in the world, and it the longest undammed rivers in the lower 48 States.

The Yellowstone River is known for its world-class fly fishing and is one of the best rivers in the state if you're looking for a good place to go rafting or tubing.
