The Gallatin County Sheriff's Office is searching for long-term foster homes for five horses. The horses include one pregnant mare and a miniature pony.

According to the Sheriff's Office, the horses were seized in a neglect case and are in bad condition, so they need people with experience taking care of horses’ medical needs. (The horse in the photo is not one of the seized horses.)

These are not free horses and can’t be ridden. They need homes for 6-12 months.

If you can provide a good home for one or more of these horses, please contact Animal Control at 406-582-2100 for more information.
