First, I've never been one to jump on the bandwagon when it comes to popular diets and workout regimens. For most of my life, I've lived with reckless abandon. I've eaten whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted.

As I've gotten older, I've realized the effects of my careless ways. I've had to buy bigger clothes, and I'm not in the best shape. I've always been an active person. I love spending time outdoors hiking, hunting, and fishing. For most of my life, I stayed in decent shape. Once I hit my 30s, I started packing on the pounds.

The past year has been rough on a lot of us. For much of it, we were confined to our homes. With gyms being closed, many people have found it difficult to stay in shape.

About a month ago, I decided to make a change. I wanted to start eating more healthy. My mom had started the Keto diet, and seeing her success first-hand inspired me. I decided to cut out sugars and carbs. It honestly was one of the most difficult decisions of my life because I loved bread, pasta, candy, and all other things that taste good. If you're thinking about trying out the Keto diet, this website has some great information for beginners.

A little over three weeks ago, I started on my weight loss journey. At first, I had a rough time adapting to the change. I still had sugars and sweets in my cupboards at home, and they tempted me on a daily basis. I ended up giving all of those things to my roommate. He was pretty stoked about it.

I'm happy to report that in just over three weeks, I have lost ten pounds. I'm discovering new Keto recipes all of the time, and am finally starting to get the hang of it. I've also been taking my dogs on long walks and hiking when I can. I try to do a few crunches and pushups every day before work as well.

It has been a difficult transition, but honestly, I feel a lot better. Simply cutting out sugars and carbs can help you shed some unwanted weight just in time for summer in Bozeman. If you have any Keto recipes, I'd love to try them out. Just shoot me a message on our station app or send me an email.
