I Adopted a Cat. Things I’ve Learned So Far…
For reasons that I'll explain at a later date, I adopted a cat two weeks ago. Cats are jerks. Furry, arrogant, emotionally indifferent, mildly vindictive jerks.
My heart is divided perfectly in half for this cat. He is stunningly handsome with his silver grey fur and green eyes. He is a lover...just wants to sit next to you and for you to pet him.
PERSONAL SPACE NO LONGER EXISTS
As an only child, I didn't learn to share as well as other kids. It's still challenging. Now this walking furbag wants to be ON me whenever I'm not in motion. On the bed. Sitting on the couch. He even meows at the bathroom door.
THE CAT BOX IS APPARENTLY JUST A SUGGESTION
This one might be a deal breaker. Seriously, cat....WTH? I make sure that thing is clean every day. Please use it. Every time, not just when you find it convenient. Have I angered you in some way???
THE CAT DOES WHATEVER THE HELL HE WANTS, WHENEVER HE WANTS
Oh, you just picked up the living room? That means it's time for crazy cat and I shall 'untidy' everything you've just picked up. Great. Juuuuuust great.
To be continued....
