Montana’s Best ‘Out Of Town’ Restaurant Is Genuinely Fantastic

It's hard to run a successful and loved restaurant. It's even more difficult to run an award winning, raved about restaurant with an incredibly thoughtful menu and a heavy green effort. Montana has one of these restaurants tucked in one of it's most beautiful towns.

Love Food looked far and wide in every state for that one "Out of Town" restaurant that was absolutely worth seeking out. Worth a road trip. Worth the bill. Just worth it. That restaurant search took them to Red Lodge, Montana.

Having clout in the foodie world is harder than ever. Diners are a picky bunch and expect excellence when having a high-end meal. My experience has been to trust chefs who love what they do. Trust their menus. Trust their judgement. Trust their palate. When a chef loves what they do, the whole restaurant experience becomes a positive one.

I'd also argue that Montana is packed with fantastic "out of town" restaurants that are worth a road trip. When you enjoy good food as much as we do, you actually DO create road trip around a particular restaurant or specific meal. Done it before and I'll do it again. But Montana's Best "Out of Town" restaurant is a little different.

PREROGATIvE Kitchen in Red Lodge, Montana was awarded the Best "Out of Town" Restaurant in Montana by Love Food. Not only that, they are a two-time James Beard Award nominee. You'll find them at 104 South Broadway in Red Lodge - it's very easy to find.

PREROGATIvE Kitchen is quite popular and they do not take reservations for less than 9 people. However, it appears that they heavily promote ordering to-go - so getting their famous food isn't difficult. I'm absolutely dying to try the foot long lobster roll. Been thinking about it for hours.
