You may notice today that you can't get on some major websites, don't worry - this isn't your computer or connection. This is a protest against SOPA - Stop Online Piracy Act. SOPA is a proposed legislation that is working it's way through congress. Here are the details.According to CNN -
"SOPA is an acronym for the Stop Online Piracy Act. It's a proposed bill that aims to crack down on copyright infringement by restricting access to sites that host pirated content. SOPA's main targets are "rogue" overseas sites which are a trove for illegal downloads of movies and other digital content."
