I want to project this NASA video onto my ceiling at night to lull me to sleep. Its HD footage of quite simply, the sun doing REALLY cool sun stuff.

You may not need to watch the entire 30 minutes, but I bet you end up watching quite a bit. Solar flares? You bet, and that's just the beginning.

According to NASA:

In space, NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory, or SDO, keeps an eye on our nearest star 24/7. SDO captures images of the sun in 10 different wavelengths, each of which helps highlight a different temperature of solar material. In this video, we experience SDO images of the sun in unprecedented detail.
