Winter Storm Watch Through Friday – Up to 10 Inches of Snow
The mountains could see nearly a foot of fresh snow by Friday evening as another storm moves into southwest Montana.
According to the National Weather Service:
Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
- WHAT: heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches at lower elevations and 6 to 10 inches in the mountains.
- WHERE: central and southern Lewis And Clark, Jefferson, Broadwater, Meagher and Gallatin counties.
- WHEN: from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
- Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the evening commute on Thursday.
- Significant reductions in visibility are possible.
