Most of southwest Montana is expected to get some snow from this storm. The very highest elevations could see up to 10 inches of fresh snow!

According to the National Weather Service:

Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 11am this morning to 11am Thursday.

  • WHAT: snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, 4 to 6 inches over Bozeman Pass, and localized amounts up to 10 inches at ridge tops, are expected.
  • WHERE: Madison, Jefferson, Broadwater and Gallatin.
  • WHEN: from 11am Wednesday to 11am Thursday.
  • Additional details: plan on slippery Road conditions, including during the evening commute. Be prepared for reduced visibility at times.
