Wendy’s Planning New Belgrade Location

The Belgrade News is reporting that fast-food giant Wendy's has passed a big hurdle with the City Planning Board and is on its way toward opening a new location in Belgrade.

The planned Belgrade location is on the corner of Jackrabbit Lane and Donjo Avenue. Donjo is a recently constructed street that runs north of the Goodwill Store.

The fast-food chain will be competing against McDonald's and Burger King, which operate locations directly north, across I-90 on Jackrabbit.

If all goes according to plan, Wendy's is due to break ground on the new store early in 2019.
