Let Your Dogs Play At These Great Bozeman Dog Parks
Bozeman is home to a lot of animal lovers, and that means many of the trail systems in the area are pet friendly. However, winter weather can make it more difficult to hit the trail with your dog. Luckily, Bozeman has a lot of great dogs parks if you're looking for a great way to let your dog burn off some energy.
Dogs love to get exercise, and it's especially important to keep them active during the winter. We've put together a list of some great off-leash dog parks in the Bozeman area if you're looking for a place to let your dog play.
Snowfill Recreation Area is a favorite among Bozeman residents. Snowfill Recreation Area is a 38-acre open space, formerly part of the city's landfill, that now serves as one of the area largest and most scenic off-leash dog parks. Your dog will have plenty of open space to run around and play. The area also features a popular sledding hill in winter. Snowfill is located at 3070 McIlhattan Road in Bozeman.
Burke Park ("Peets Hill") is another popular off-leash dog park in the Bozeman area. It's located at the intersection of South Church Avenue and East Story Street. The 41-acre park offers plenty of space for your dog to run free, and it's also a great place to catch a beautiful Bozeman sunset.
Cooper Park is a small park located near Montana State University. The park is only about a half-acre, but it's a great place to sit and relax and let your dogs burn off some energy.
Bozeman Pond Park has two places for you dog to play. In the summer, there's a swimming beach specifically for dogs and the new Lewis and Bark Park dog park was recently added. Both areas are enclosed by fencing.
