Record Breaking Montana Astronaut Gets Warm Welcome Home From Dog
Astronaut Christina Koch recently returned home after spending a record breaking 328 days in space, which is the longest single spaceflight by a woman in history.
According to NASA, Koch is a native of Michigan, grew up in Jacksonville, North Carolina and was residing in Livingston, Montana when she was selected as an astronaut in 2013.
Koch returned from space on February 6, and her dog was one of many excited for her return. The video below is a great example of the unconditional love you experience as a dog owner. Her dog obviously couldn't contain its excitement.
On Tuesday, Koch posted the video below on Instagram with the caption:
Not sure who was more excited. Glad she remembers me after a year! That’s Sadie Lou, our LBD (little brown dog). Best breed for a best friend.
