I live in Manhattan and recently discovered a beef commercial aired on TV in 1990. If you haven't seen it, you can watch it below.

The commercial seems to be poking fun at the old Subway commercials that feature longtime spokesperson Jared Fogle. Obviously, the commercial was filmed before the world learned that Jared wasn't really a great person.

In the Cafe Zydeco commercial, Bubba brags about how much weight he's gained since he started eating at the restaurant daily. Bubba went from 180 lbs. to 320 lbs.

For the most part, some people have become much more health-conscious since this commercial was filmed, and gaining 140 pounds might not be their goal, but eating delicious cajun food should be everyone's goal.
